RAYE Returns With ‘This Music May Contain Hope’: Stream It Now
A New Chapter for RAYE
RAYE, the London-born singer and songwriter, continues to demonstrate her resilience and artistic evolution with the release of her sophomore album, This Music May Contain Hope. Following the critical and commercial success of her previous project, My 21st Century Blues, this new collection marks a significant milestone in her independent career.
The artist, who famously navigated a challenging departure from her major label, Polydor, in 2021, has found a new path forward. After signing with Human Re Sources, she achieved historic success, including a record-breaking six BRIT Awards in 2024 and multiple U.K. No. 1 singles, such as “Escapism” and “Where Is My Husband?”
A Sonic Journey
Spanning 17 tracks, This Music May Contain Hope is described by the artist as a “sonic journey that moves from darkness to light.” The album features an impressive array of collaborators, including Hans Zimmer, Al Green, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Flames Collective Choir. Production duties were handled by a talented team including Mike Sabath, Tom Richards, and Punctual.
“Music is medicine, I’ve always said that,” RAYE shared in a statement. “I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”
RAYE is set to support the album with a sold-out North American tour and a series of festival appearances, alongside a high-profile guest spot on Bruno Mars’ upcoming stadium tour.
