Pinch returns with Reality Tunnels, his first solo album in 13 years

Pinch is back with his first solo album in 13 years.

Rob Ellis will release Reality Tunnels on June 19th on Bandcamp (with the double-vinyl package and other digital versions out the 26th) via his label Tectonic Recordings.

On the ten-track, LP, the Bristol artist takes inspiration from his time working with Adrian Sherwood and Robert Anton Wilson’s 1983 book Prometheus Rising: “In essence, the concept of a reality tunnel relates to an idea on how we create our own perspective—the subjective filter that we each apply to the world around us,” Pinch says.

Pinch’s last solo album was 2007’s Underwater Dancehall, and his latest solo EP was Border Control on Berceuse Heroique last year. His more recent work mostly centers on collaborations, such as ones with Kahn and Killa P (who also features on Reality Tunnels track “Party”), Peverelist, Mumdance, Trim and Sherwood.
