Neva Dinova announce shows with mysterious openers
After unveiling their first new single in over a decade, “Something’s Out There,” last year, Omaha band Neva Dinova will release their first album in 16 years, Canary, later this month. They’ll play a NYC show for it on September 17 at Baby’s All Right, and they’ve announced a few more shows too, in Omaha (September 13 at Slowdown), Chicago (September 14 at Lincoln Hall), Cleveland (September 15 at Beachland Ballroom), and Philadelphia (September 16 at Music Hall at World Cafe Live).
They say, “We’re playing with some really rad bands — some you may know and some you may not! :)” The Chicago, Cleveland, and Philly shows each have a mysterious-sounding band joining them on the bill — 7:55 Saturday Radical Stage Riot Boys in Chicago, Ojos Brillantes in Cleveland, and The Henry Doorly Zoo Explosion in Philly. Perhaps some old friends from Omaha and Saddle Creek will be joining them? Stay tuned.
Canary is due out on September 27 via Saddle Creek, and you can hear lead single “Edge of Something” below.
