Nathan Micay's score for the HBO & BBC series Industry to be released as an OST album

Nathan Micay‘s OST for the HBO & BBC series Industry is out on LuckyMe December 4th.

The buzzed-about series, which focuses on young graduates from different backgrounds entering the world of London finance, premiered on November 9th in the US via HBO and November 10th on BBC Two.

“My catalogue is best known for dance records,” Micay writes on his score for the show, “but since 2016 I’ve enjoyed quietly extending into score work for friends shorts and a feature…. Circumstances aligned nicely then, when the title track to Blue Spring showed up on the radar of the Industry show runners, who cut a screen test to the track. The timing of everything coincided with a year of cancelled touring and forced attention to working on this score—which is something I’ve greatly enjoyed.

Micay’s theme for Industry is out now, with the full 14-track LP set for digital release on December 4th. It’ll be out on all formats on April 30th.

Back in 2015, we profiled Micay as part of our Breaking Through series.
