My Chemical Romance teasing something?
Are My Chemical Romance teasing something? They recently returned to the stage for the first time in in 18 months to perform The Black Parade in full at Las Vegas’ emo nostalgia festival When We Were Young, and today they’ve put up an Instagram post with some kind of new artwork or logo, and the caption reads, “If you could be anything, what would you be?” Back in 2022, they put out their first new song in eight years, “The Foundations of Decay.” Could it be more new music? Another tour? A reissue? Something else? Stay tuned to find out.
Meanwhile, MCR guitarist Frank Iero is currently busy with his other band, L.S. Dunes (also featuring members of Thursday, Coheed, and Circa Survive). They’re on tour now opening for Rise Against, and they’re gearing up to release their sophomore album Violet in January. Pick up our exclusive “twilight” vinyl variant of the album in the BV shop.
