Mexico City artist AAAA reveals album for Acid Test
Gabo Barranco is a Mexico City producer and part of the rave crew EXT who has previously collaborated on an Acid Test LP with Tin Man as DOVS and released on Danny Daze’s OMNIDISC imprint. Runts‘s 12 tracks were written between 2018 and 2020, and per the label’s remit, explore the possibilities of acid using an analog setup, eschewing digital manipulation or complex edits.
It’s out on cassette and digital in early December and follows releases on Acid Test’s leftfield sub-label Avenue 66 from John Frusciante’s Trickfinger alias and SUED cofounder SW..
