Listen to Shanique Marie's new single, 'Freak'

Shanique Marie has a new single on Equiknoxx Music.

A dancehall ode to living freely, “Freak” was cowritten and produced by Equiknoxx member Gavsborg. The instrumental version of his production is the single’s second track, “The Answer Is Always Nick.”

Earlier this year, Shanique Marie handled the Kingston collective’s first release of 2020, “Ring The Alarm,” and starred in the video for her collaborative track with Manchester’s Swing Ting, called “Give Thanks.” (She’s also dropped a “Smooth Take” version of that track this week—check it out on Bandcamp.)

Equiknoxx also released a new EP from Time Cow this past Friday, titled Travels.
