Kölsch returns to Kompakt with fourth album, Now Here No Where

Kölsch released his fourth album, Now Here No Where, last Friday, September 25th.

“It’s been a long road,” the Danish artist said, “it began about four years ago. I was looking for new ways to approach techno after the completion of my album trilogy. I found a lot of inspiration in abstract art, photography and obviously music.”

Kölsch cites ’80s west-coast rock, Talking Heads and John Coltrane as influences on the LP, which is out now via Kompakt. The revered Cologne label also released Kölsch’s previous three albums: 1977, 1983 and 1989.
