Karol G has joined forces with Greg Gonzalez, the lead vocalist of Cigarettes After Sex, for their debut collaboration, “Después De Ti.” The track has made a significant impact, entering Billboard‘s Hot Latin Songs chart at No. 6 and claiming the No. 1 spot on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart for the week dated May 9.
The song was first introduced to audiences during Karol G’s headlining set at Coachella’s opening weekend. This release marks a milestone for both artists: it is Karol G’s 32nd top 10 entry on the Hot Latin Songs chart, while for Gonzalez, it represents his first appearance as a solo artist on any Billboard chart.

According to Luminate, the ballad garnered 3.8 million official streams in the United States during the tracking week ending April 30, securing a No. 6 entry on the Latin Streaming Songs chart. Additionally, the track sold 1,000 downloads, earning it a No. 1 debut on the Latin Digital Song Sales chart.
Milestones for the Artists
With this latest entry, Karol G continues to solidify her standing, maintaining the second-most top 10s among women on the Hot Latin Songs chart, trailing only Shakira. For Gonzalez, the success of the track is a notable solo achievement. His band, Cigarettes After Sex, previously reached the top 10 with their third studio album, X’s, which debuted at No. 6 on the Top Latin Albums chart and No. 5 on the Vinyl Albums chart in July 2024.
