John FM releases new EP, American Spirit

Detroit producer John FM has self-released a new EP called American Spirit.

The five-track record draws from R&B, hip-hop and Detroit techno, each cut dealing with “common American themes” that are glorified in American cinema. Fellow Detroit producer Black Noi$e also contributed to the record, helping with the EP’s arrangement and mixing.

John FM is a Detroit-born producer and singer, best known for his work with Omar-S’s FXHE Records. The record is his first since Ricochet / …And Then Leave, released back in 2017.
