India Jordan reveals new six-track EP, For You
The six-track For You marks the UK DJ and producer’s biggest release to date. It spans their musical influences like house and techno, as well as drum & bass and happy hardcore. The EP is out on digital and vinyl May 20th.
The cover of For You was taken in the toilets of London queer venue Dalston Superstore, underlining the personal theme of the record. “They’re spaces for me to decompress, sort my head out and get some time away,” Jordan says. “They’re also places I’ve experienced to be queer. When I was growing up, it wasn’t necessarily safe for me to show any public displays of affection with people, so toilets were a safe option.”
India Jordan’s debut EP, DNT STP MY LV, was released in May 2019. It featured in our top tracks of 2019 and decade round-ups. They also put out the collaborative single “H.U.R.L / F.U.R.L” with Finn last December.
