Ikonika, KG, Sam Binga remix Swing Ting's debut album, 100 Dances

Swing Ting, AKA Samrai & Platt, have just released an EP of remixes off their debut album, 100 Dances.

The Manchester-based party and label cofounders have enlisted Ikonika, KG and Sam Binga for edits on 100 Dances Reworked, out today. Samrai & Platt also contribute new versions of their own for the final two tracks: “Signs” with Lovescene and the “Smooth Take” version of “Give Thanks, featuring Shanique Marie.

Samrai & Platt have been busy since the release of 100 Dances, which features the likes of Fox, Gemma Dunleavy and Trigga, back in March. In the UK lockdown, they put together a video for “Give Thanks” made with clips sent in from friends and family all around the world (watch it below). They also released a track with PERiiSU called “Business & Culture” as part of Manchester station Reform Radio’s Co-Lab Theory initiative. Samrai later collaborated with Pandit G, Gavsborg, Shanique Marie, Farah Ahmed Khan, Tunde Adekoya and Vikaash Sankadecha on the piece I Should Have Hugged You Tighter When We Last Met (Oh What A Joy).
