Greg Wilson has authored a new book called Discotheque Archives.
The book, which features illustrations from Pete Fowler, is based on a series of columns Wilson penned for DJ Mag. Discotheque Archives follows 25 DJs, record labels, venues and tracks and includes a list of 500 key records, details Wilson’s label, Super Weird Substance.
Wilson, known for his pioneering work as a DJ, editor and electro-funk pioneer spanning back to the ’70s, focuses on key figures like Frankie Knuckles, Tee Scott, Norman Jay and Anita Sarko in Discotheque Archives, which is available via his Bandcamp page.
