Gerd Janson makes directorial debut with new Krystal Klear video

Gerd Janson has directed Krystal Klear‘s new music video.

The clip for “Future Fantasy,” features visuals by German artist Arno Beck. The track is the opener to the Irish producer’s latest EP, the four-track Cyclia Two, out now via Janson’s Running Back. (Cyclia One was released in November 2019.)

“[‘Future Fantasy’] wouldn’t sound out of place in any 1980s arcade sci-fi discotheque, at Tron parties, a drag race competition on Mars or in Gino Scoccio’s head while he recorded ‘The Visitors,'” Janson says. “Of course, it is very much made with the tools of today and takes as many cues from the future as the past. That’s why I think that the art of Arno Beck goes so well with it. Analog traditions meet virtual reality.”
