fallfiftyfeet release new single “Running from the Sky,” say more music is coming this year
After releasing a split EP with Wounded Touch last summer, West Virginia metalcore band fallfityfeet are kicking 2025 off with a new single that finds them sounding as intensely chaotic as ever, “Running from the Sky.” No word yet if this is the start of a new album cycle, but a press release does promise that more new music and touring is on the way in 2025. So far their only full-length is their 2021 debut LP Twisted World Perspective. Of the new song, vocalist Dave Wallace says:
The lyrics to this song kind of came to me in a dream. And by that, I mean I woke up in the middle of the night and started writing them down for some reason. The next morning, I clicked on a random demo in our folder and fit all the pieces together. The song is about a small portion of my feelings on organized religions and their gods.
