Dry Cleaning brought out Nourished by Time at Bowery Ballroom night 1 (pics, setlist)

Dry Cleaning just wrapped up their US tour with a pair of NYC shows at Bowery Ballroom on Monday and Tuesday (3/25 & 3/26). We went to Monday night’s show, which found the band sounding tighter and heavier than ever, especially Tom Dowse’s guitar. They brought out Nourished by Time‘s Marcus Brown for an encore rendition of Stumpwork track “Gary Ashby,” which they said they hadn’t rehearsed at all.

Dry Cleaning will tour Europe and the UK through the spring, and return to North America in June for Solid Sound and a few shows surrounding it. They’ll also open for Nick Cave this fall in Europe. See all of their upcoming dates below.
