Cindy Lee cancels remainder of tour
Cindy Lee, aka former Women singer/guitarist Patrick Flegel, has been on tour supporting their fantastic new triple album Diamond Jubilee, but the remainder of the dates have been cancelled. Empty Bottle announced that Saturday’s Chicago show was cancelled “due to personal reasons within the touring party,” and other venues have also shared the update, as have collaborators and openers Freak Heat Waves, who wrote, “For reasons beyond our control the remaining dates of the Cindy Lee and Freak Heat Waves 24/7 tour have been cancelled. Tickets will be refunded. Apologies to all. We are in the process of scheduling make up shows where possible. Stay tuned.” Cindy Lee has not released a statement of their own about the cancellation at this time.
Diamond Jubilee isn’t on streaming services; you can listen via YouTube below and download the WAV files on Cindy Lee’s Geocities page.
