Mandolin virtuoso Chris Thile (Nickel Creek, Punch Brothers, Live From Here) curated this season of NY Phil’s The 65th Street Session, and for the final installment on Thursday (2/1) he was joined by bluegrass guitarist Billy Strings and organist and pianist Cory Henry at David Geffen Hall’s Wu Tsai Theater. Chris and Billy will also perform together on CBS Saturday Morning on February 3.
Billy, who also recently joined Tool onstage in Nashville in January, resumes his tour later this month. Chris has “Attention!” shows coming up in April and June. See all dates below.
