Brian Eno announces new retrospective, Film Music 1976–2020

A new Brian Eno compilation, Film Music 1976—2020, looks back at his soundtrack work recorded across five decades.

The 17-track retrospective, which will be released on Universal sub-label UMC on November 13th, is the first comprehensive collection of Eno’s music for film and television. It includes compositions from movies like Trainspotting, David Lynch’s Dune and Michelangelo Antonioni’s Beyond The Clouds, as well as “Final Sunset,” a track initially featured in Derek Jarman’s 1976 film Sebastiane, and subsequently included on Eno’s acclaimed 1978 album Music For Films.

The Film Music 1976–2020 package includes seven tracks previously unreleased on record.
