Bloomsday announces tour w/ Mali Velasquez, new LP ‘Heart of the Artichoke’ out now
New York-based artist Iris James Garrison released their second album as Bloomsday, Heart of the Artichoke, today (6/7) via Bayonet. They’ve shared a new video for “Bumper Sticker,” off of it, and you can watch that, and stream the album, below.
Bloomsday also announced a co-headlining fall tour with Mali Velasquez, which includes a pair of Brooklyn shows at Union Pool on September 17 and 18. Ahead of that, they’ll celebrate their new album with a release show at TV Eye on June 10 with Daneshevskaya and Lily Seabird; play the free Emerging Music Festival in Bryant Park on June 29 with Horsegirl, Hannah Jadagu, and Greg Mendez; and support Sid Simons at Bowery Ballroom on July 12.
