black midi’s Cameron Picton announces US dates, including free Brooklyn show, opening for Lankum in LA & SF
Geordie Greep isn’t the only black midi member to be launching a solo career. Bassist and vocalist Cameron Picton will be in the US in late winter 2025 to open Lankum‘s shows in San Francisco (Great American Music Hall on 2/27) and Los Angeles (The Belasco on 2/28), and while here he has lined up a couple headline shows as well.
He’ll play Chicago on February 25 at Shubas before his California dates with Lankum, and then on the way back he’ll stop in Brooklyn for a free show at Union Pool on Tuesday, March 4. Does this mark the return of UP’s Free Tuesdays winter series? Let’s hope.
Cameron released a new mixtape under his Camera Picture alias back in November which is available as a CDR only.
Meanwhile, Geordie Greep will be touring all over the place in 2025.
