Andrew Ashong returns on collaborative EP with Kaidi Tatham

Andrew Ashong is back.

The English artist’s first release in six years is a collaboration with Kaidi Tatham, a member of Bugz In The Attic and a long-running force in the UK broken beat scene. Sankofa Season is a six-track EP that also functions as the inaugural release for Kitto Records, a new label run out of Belfast and London. The full EP is out on November 13th.

Ashong first emerged with an EP for Theo Parrish’s Sound Signature label (where Tatham has also released) in 2012, followed by a self-titled record in 2014. Tatham most recently put out on an album on First Word Records in 2018.
