American producer Bored Lord arrested at Black Lives Matter solidarity protest in Oakland
A GoFundMe launched yesterday revealed that the American producer was arrested at a Black Lives Matter protest in Oakland.
The march was in solidarity with Kenosha, Wisconsin, where protestors have been demonstrating against the police shooting of Jacob Blake, who was shot at in the back seven times.
Bored Lored is reportedly facing felony charges. Her bail was set at $50,000, and the required $5,000 was paid on Sunday, allowing for her release (she confirmed she was back at home on Sunday night, via her private Twitter account).
The GoFundMe page is still active, and funds raised will be split between fees for Bored Lord’s ongoing court case and helping others who were arrested at the protest. You can check that page out here. There are also Venmo and CashApp links, which are managed by Bored Lord’s partner, for more direct donations in the US.
