All Things Go NYC day 1 in pics (MUNA, Soccer Mommy, Chappell Roan drag party, more)

All Things Go launched its first-ever NYC edition this year (in addition to its DC-area edition at Merriweather Post Pavilion), and both are happening this weekend with similar lineups. The NYC edition kicked off at Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday (9/28), where rain persisted for most of the day. Despite Chappell Roan cancelling her set on Friday, lots of attendees used her as style inspiration, arriving dressed in pink cowboy hats and boots. Festival organizers added Queens of the Dancefloor: An ATG Drag Party to fill Chappell’s Saturday set time, which featured drag artists and performers including Hanukah Lewinsky, Mo’Riah, Reese Havoc, Beaujangless, Aquaria, Kevin Aviance onstage together while DJ B-Roc of The Knocks spun Chappell’s most energetic tracks and the crowd sang and danced along.

Saturday at All Things Go NYC also featured MUNA (who covered Chappell Roan and Vanessa Carlton, and brought out Lucy Dacus), Reneé Rapp (who brought out a choir and her girlfriend Towa Bird, who also performed her own set earlier in the day), Holly Humberstone (who brought out MUNA’s Katie Gavin for “Into Your Room”), Del Water Gap, Soccer Mommy, and more.
