Aitana Launches ‘Cuarto Azul’ World Tour with Emotional Almería Performance

Aitana brought together nearly 18,000 people on Saturday (May 9) at the Municipal Stadium Antonio Peroles in Almería, Spain, where she officially launched her Cuarto Azul World Tour. The concert marked a significant milestone for the Spanish star, blending high-energy pop anthems with deeply personal, intimate moments.

A Theatrical and Intimate Stage Experience

The show opened with a striking visual concept: Aitana performed the track “6 de Febrero” from the intimacy of a bedroom setting. She lay on a white bed atop a two-level structure positioned in the center of the stage, while her musicians played from the level below. The stage design, conceptualized as an open house featuring various rooms, stairs, and platforms, evolved throughout the night, utilizing dynamic lighting and massive screens to shift the atmosphere.

Dressed in a custom look by Devol Studio paired with personalized boots by Hispanitas, the singer navigated her repertoire with ease. While the setlist was heavily anchored in her 2025 album Cuarto Azul, she also treated long-time fans to earlier hits, including “Mon Amour,” “Vas a Quedarte,” and “Gran Vía.”

Emotional Connections and Fan Interaction

The concert was defined by its spontaneous, human moments. Aitana frequently paused to read signs from the crowd and accept gifts, fostering a palpable connection with her audience. During a particularly vulnerable segment, she introduced “Desde Que Ya No Hablamos” by explaining its origins. “Many of the songs were written while I was in Miami and feeling very sad,” she shared, noting that she wanted to include the track because it represents the “darkest part” of the album’s narrative.

The audience’s energy remained high throughout the night, particularly during fan-favorites like “Miamor” and “Las Babys.” During “Miamor,” the crowd took over the first verse, while “Con Los Ángeles” proved to be one of the most celebrated highlights of the evening. The show concluded with a powerful performance of “Superestrella,” a track that has already seen significant success on Billboard charts.

Touring Future

Following the successful kickoff in Almería, Aitana is set to tour Spain for the coming months before taking the Cuarto Azul World Tour to Latin America in October, with scheduled stops in Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico. U.S. dates are slated for November, including performances in New York and Miami, followed by a European leg in early 2027.
