Afropunk reveals full 2024 lineup

Afropunk is moving to Prospect Park for 2024, happening at Lena Horne Bandshell on August 23 and 24 in partnership with BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. They announced last month that Erykah Badu would be performing, and now they’ve revealed the full lineup. Erykah Badu will close out both nights, which they’re billing as “Ba-Deaux – 2 nights – 2 different experiences.”

Friday will be hosted by Amari and will also feature a Ballroom Battle with Fight Club NYC, a Battle of the Bands with Big.Ass.Kids, wrestling showcases with Legacy Pro Wrestling, and a performance from Larissa Luz.

Saturday will feature Durand Bernarr, DJ Moma of Everyday People, and a punk stage with Jenny Hates Techno, Hue, Phunky Nomads, Breezy Supreme, Rebelmatic, and Winter Wolf, hosted by Gitoo.

Soulection are also listed on the flyer, but no word yet which night they’re on.

Tickets are on sale now, and you can see this year’s flyer, and pics from last year, which was held at Greenpoint Terminal Market, below.
