ADE's annual Bridges For Music charity cycle goes online this year
This year’s version of the annual cycle, which raises money for the South African music school Bridges For Music, will operate much like the usual event, with DJs, executives, label reps and other music industry staff cycling to raise money.
Instead of heading to Amsterdam, however, they’ll be streaming on Beatport’s Twitch channel while riding on stationary bikes installed in empty nightclubs around the world, including Ministry Of Sound in London, Watergate in Berlin, the Bridges Academy in South Africa and more.
DJs who have confirmed they will take part include the likes of Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Rebekah and Themba.
The event will take place as an eight-hour virtual relay, running from 2 PM to 10 PM CEST, using the cycling app Zwift. Fans who want to ride along from home will be to join via the app. For more information, check out the event’s official site.
