Teddy Swims Delivers Soulful ‘Mr. Know It All’ Performance at 2026 AMAs

Teddy Swims brought his signature soulful intensity to the 2026 American Music Awards on Sunday night, delivering a captivating performance of his recent hit, “Mr. Know It All.”

Introduced by fellow Georgian Mariah the Scientist, Swims took to a stage designed to resemble a weathered, boarded-up house. The setting provided a stark, intimate backdrop for his vocal performance, which was supported by a stripped-back arrangement featuring plucky guitar and hand drums. His voice, known for its raw emotional depth, anchored the song as he navigated the lyrics about the painful anticipation of a relationship’s end.

Although it has been over a year since the release of his 2025 album, I’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2), Swims continues to maintain significant momentum. He is currently a contender for Collaboration of the Year at this year’s AMAs for his work on “Gone Gone Gone,” a track featuring David Guetta and Tones and I. Additionally, his recent contribution to the Nobody Wants This soundtrack, “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming,” has further solidified his presence in the current musical landscape.

Swims has been a consistent live presence throughout the year, notably turning heads at both weekends of Coachella this past April. His festival sets were marked by high-energy performances and notable guest appearances from artists including David Lee Roth, Joe Jonas, and Vanessa Carlton. During those performances, he famously closed his set with his breakout hit, “Lose Control,” while utilizing pyrotechnics and a custom bike to create a memorable spectacle. It was also at Coachella that he first debuted “Mr. Know It All” for a live audience.

The 2026 AMAs, hosted by Queen Latifah, are being held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The evening is headlined by Taylor Swift, who leads the nominations with eight nods, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Other top nominees include Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, and Sombr, each securing seven nominations.
