The 5 Best Sketches from Sydney Sweeney’s SNL Episode
Saturday Night Live celebrated Women’s History Month with an episode hosted by Sydney Sweeney and featuring musical guest Kacey Musgraves. Sweeney, star of Anyone But You and Euphoria, made her SNL debut, while Musgraves took her third turn as the show’s musical guest, this time in support of her new album Deeper Well and upcoming world tour (get tickets here).
In her opening monologue, Sweeney joked about the poor performance of her most recent film (My name is Sydney Sweeney. You might have seen me in Anyone But You or Euphoria — but you definitely didn’t see me in Madame Web). She also addressed some internet rumors about herself, including that she had an affair with her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell (who just so happened to be in the audience). Watch Sweeney’s monologue along with the five best sketches from the episode below.
As for Musgraves, she showcased Deeper Well with performances of the album’s title track and “Too Good to be True.” Replay those here.
