Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher Announce They’re Divorcing

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have announced their decision to divorce after 13 years of marriage.

Cohen, 52, and Fisher, 48, broke the news in a joint statement posted to social media on Friday: “After a long tennis match lasting over twenty years, we are finally putting our racquets down. In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage.”

“We have always prioritized our privacy, and have been quietly working through this change,” they added. “We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family’s wish for privacy.”

Cohen and Fisher first began dating in 2001, and got engaged in 2004. Prior to their wedding in 2010, Fisher converted to Judaism, Cohen’s religion. They share three children.

In 2016, Cohen and Fisher appeared together in the film The Brothers Grimsby. Discussing the experience, Fisher said, “He’s such a perfectionist. He’ll do everything and anything to get the best joke possible into the movie, so it was definitely inspirational.” To date, it’s the only on-screen project the two have worked together on.
