Australian artist Pat Mac enchants fans with a high-quality punk-pop release, “Hollow,” presented alongside a wonderful lyric video. The single has already collected tens of thousands of streams a few days after its release on Spotify alone. Fans of the genre are destined to gravitate towards this punk meets pop single, with Pat Mac singing about something we’ve all experienced in our lives.
He got inspired to write the song after one of the most horrible nights out with his friend, who introduced him to some of the most toxic people he had ever seen. Pat Mac shares how toxic they were, and how he would be ready to pay for not having been there.
When Pat Mac was young, he would listen to his father play old classic rock songs in the house. His father got his acoustic guitar from Pat Mac’s mother as a gift early on in their relationship. It’s that same guitar that was handed to Pat Mac years later, and the one he uses to record his songs until this day. A singer-songwriter, Pat Mac is also a multi-instrumentalist (guitar- drums).
On his way to releasing his debut EP Wait On, the Australian artist has created the ideal momentum to have a solid fan base awaiting his debut EP scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
