Nicki Minaj Vows to Fire Her DJ If He’s Ever Caught Signing Boobs Again

Nicki Minaj has had an eventful week. After being detained by police in Amsterdam and missing the Manchester stop of her ongoing “Pink Friday 2 World Tour,” she’s now facing that classic problem that we’ve all had to deal with at one time or another: when your touring DJ goes out signing boobs.

After her DJ, Boof, posted a photo on his Instagram story of himself leaving a John Hancock on a Barb’s breasts (with the caption “I’M REALLY FAMOUS THEY ASKED ME TO SIGN THEIR BOOBS”), Minaj issued a stern warning. Quote-tweeting a screenshot of the story, she wrote: “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df.”

Now, you might be thinking that Minaj has put her foot down out of a moral objection to the practice of body-part-signing, but looking at her track record, that does not appear to be the case. “I think boobs are very empowering — and signing them is even more empowering,” she said in 2012, adding that she signs boobs “wherever I go.”

So, maybe DJ Boof is about to learn the lesson that many-a Minaj imitator has learned in the past: no one can beat her at her own game, because she’s the best person doing it.

Threats aside, DJ Boof seems unfazed. On Tuesday morning, he posted another Instagram story celebrating that he has made $1 million in just six months.
