Mohammed Paika Stands Out With Romantic Ballads “Love” & “For The Rest Of Our Lives”
Admired director, singer-songwriter, and producer, Mohammed K. Paika, takes over the charts and hearts with his latest singles “For The Rest Of Our Lives” and “Love.” The celebrated musician’s videos have garnered millions of views on YouTube, earning the Albuquerque native the love of the public and the praise and the appreciation of the critics.
“It feels wonderful!! I’m quite happy that “Love” has received so much attention and positive reactions,” says Paika, admitting that the track is very close to his heart, because the song was filmed in the city that he and his wife were married in. It’s “where we first started our life together,” explains the multi-award winner artist.
Paika adds: “For the video shoot, our trip was focused on reflecting our passion for each other and re-exploring some of the iconic spots in Albuquerque which include areas of Old Town as well as the famous Sandia Peak Tramway. Since Albuquerque has an upbeat and vibrant Native American culture, I wanted the music to have a “folk” element and also be “catchy”. I feel blessed to have my wife be part of this song.”
It’s been proven over and over again that Paika’s one and only muse is his wife. In addition to “Love,” the single “For The Rest Of Our Lives” was “composed from scratch with her thoughts in my mind reflecting our life and story together,” reveals Mohammed, noting “It was quite easy for the words to flow out while writing the lyrics. All I had to do was close my eyes and think of my wife’s superior qualities to get the lyrics straight.”
Mohammed Paika has received worldwide recognition and acclaim, thanks to his creations, including, “Stronger,” “So Many Divisions,” and “O My Nation (‘Ya Ummati’).” Inspired by Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Ahmad bin Ali Al-Ajmi, Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, and Fairuz, the virtuoso singer blends the best of Eastern and Western music into his songs.
