HBO Shares Behind-the-Scenes Clip from Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Final Scene
Curb Your Enthusiasm wrapped its 20-year, 12-season run on Sunday with a tremendous final statement of irreverence and socially (un)aware humor. Now, HBO has shared a behind-the-scenes clip from the moment after the show wrapped its final scene.
If you haven’t yet watched the series finale, a warning of spoilers ahead: After Jerry Seinfeld found a loophole to get Larry David out of prison, the final scene saw the main cast sitting in a row on a plane, loudly bickering over each other about.
Once the filming wrapped, however, the bickering turned to tears, with the late Richard Lewis and Cheryl Hines both giving short remarks.
“Larry David has treated me like a god, all of you have, and this is the greatest experience of my career and I love each and every one of you,” Lewis remarked. “I’m honored to be working arguably with the great sitcom writer in the last two centuries. And god bless you all.”

Through tears, Hines said, “I was just thinking about [David] because my entire life changed when I met you.”
David didn’t say a word, but it was evident that he also was quite emotional.
