Bristol dub-pop trio Jabu announce second album, Sweet Company

Jabu has announced their second album, Sweet Company, due out in November on their own do you have peace? imprint.

The Bristol-based band, comprising Amos Childs and vocalists Jasmine Butt and Alex Rendall, put out their last full length, Sleep Heavy, via the venerable, now-defunct Blackest Ever Black. Since then, the trio has fleshed out their signature sound—a mix of delicate pop and soundsystem-rattling bass with clear dub and trip-hop influences—across a series of singles featuring the likes of British-Afro-Colombian artist Daniela Dyson and Bristol up-and-comer Sunun, both of whom appear on Sweet Company.

Listen to the first single off Sweet Company, “Water Temple.”
