Mosca launches label, Rent, for his own music

Mosca is launching a label for his own productions called Rent.

The outlet will focus “on one-off productions that either don’t fit with anything else on an EP / LP, or just stuff I want to get out quickly,” the UK producer told Resident Advisor. “All my own stuff—I’m sitting on quite a lot of unconnected trax and I don’t want them to stay unheard on my HD forever. Kinda creates a stagnant energy and clogs everything up.”

The first release, The Optics, contains one track. Mosca says the club-ready tune was “partly inspired by the beach scene in Jonathan Glazer’s [2013 film] Under The Skin.”
