Killswitch Engage Adds Second Melbourne Date to 2026 Australian Tour
Metalcore icons Killswitch Engage have officially expanded their highly anticipated 2026 tour of Australia and New Zealand. Due to overwhelming demand, the band has added a second show in Melbourne, following the rapid sell-out of their initial date in under two weeks.
This upcoming run marks a significant return for the Massachusetts-based group, representing their first headline tour of the region since 2018. The band’s enduring popularity remains evident, as fans clamor for tickets to see the architects of modern metalcore in an intimate setting.
The newly added performance is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9, at the Forum in Melbourne, just one night prior to their already sold-out show on Nov. 10. Tickets for the additional date, as well as remaining stops on the tour, are currently available through SBM Presents.
The tour arrives in support of the band’s ninth studio album, This Consequence, released in February 2025. The record has already achieved commercial success, with lead single “I Believe” reaching No. 4 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Airplay chart—a career milestone for the group. Joining them as special guests for the duration of the tour is the British metal outfit Sylosis, who are currently promoting their latest album, The New Flesh.
Formed in 1999, Killswitch Engage has maintained a consistent presence in the heavy music scene for over two decades. From their landmark 2002 debut Alive or Just Breathing to their recent chart-topping efforts, the band has balanced critical acclaim with a fiercely loyal fanbase. With the Melbourne dates moving quickly, fans in other cities are encouraged to secure their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
