Leon Bridges began Beacon Theatre run with Hermanos Gutiérrez (night 1 pics, setlist)
Leon Bridges released his first album in three years, Leon, earlier this month, and he’s been on tour supporting it. On this run, he’s playing theaters, and ahead of the tour, he said, “these are listening rooms—beautiful stages that truly showcase the music and allow me to get back to analog instrumentation.” His NYC shows are a three-night run at Beacon Theatre, which started on Wednesday night (10/30). Much of his setlist featured his Leon material, but he also played some older songs, including a couple of his collaborative tracks with Khruangbin. See his night one setlist below.
