Stream Charli XCX’s remix album ft. Caroline Polachek, Bon Iver, The 1975, Tinashe & more

As Brat Summer turns to fall, Charli XCX has decided to rekindle the flames of the summer’s most dominant album by releasing Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat, which features reworks/remixes of every song on Brat and one of its bonus tracks with a different famous guest on each song. Charli’s already released some of them, including “Girl, so confusing” (ft. Lorde), “Guess” (ft. Billie Eilish), “360” (ft. Robyn & Yung Lean), “Talk talk” (ft. Troye Sivan), and “Von dutch” (ft. Addison Rae & A.G. Cook), and now you can also hear Caroline Polachek bring her fluttery vocal workouts to “Everything is romantic,” The 1975’s Matty Healy croon his way through a rework of “I might say something stupid” (with help from electronic musician Jon Hopkins), Julian Casablancas of The Strokes bring new auto-tuned verses to “Mean girls,” the soaring voice of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon on a Phil Collins-ified rework of “I think about it all the time” that also has new spoken word verses from Charli about album promo, the “365” remix with Shygirl that they’ve been playing live together, Ariana Grande bringing her pop stardom to a revised version of “Sympathy is a knife,” Bladee sing-rapping on “Rewind,” a duet on “B2b” with Tinashe (who, like Charli, had a long-deserved pop breakthrough this year), and more. Listen to the whole thing below.

You can also pick up Brat and it’s the same but there’s three more songs so it’s not on white vinyl in the BV shop.
