REVEREND KRISTIN MICHAEL HAYTER (FKA LINGUA IGNOTA)

“Hi buds, I have made the difficult decision to cancel my remaining tour dates,” wrote Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter (formerly Lingua Ignota). “I’m really sorry to everyone who was planning to come out and to everyone who worked hard to put these shows together. I need to spend the next little while working on my health and being a normal person, touching grass as the kids say. I am ok, there’s nothing wrong – and my life today is happy, but touring greatly amplifies the parts of my brain I am working to quiet; I don’t feel good out there, and I am not able to give the 100% to performing that my audience deserves right now. With significant health issues in my touring party cropping up, everyone’s well-being has to remain the priority. It’s just not right to power through. I’m taking an extended break from performing and will miss you, but we’ll see each other again down the road. I’m still working on music and will have exciting things to share a bit later, but for now I’m logging off. Take care of yourselves and each other.”
