SLEATER-KINNEY
Sleater-Kinney are back on the road starting Thursday, July 25 in Nashville and from there head to Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Wilmington, New Haven, Buffalo, Montreal, and Toronto — all with Die Spitz opening. The tour wraps up with a hometown show in Portland on August 7 with co-headliners Amyl and The Sniffers. A week later they’ll jet to Europe and the UK.
PIANOS BECOME THE TEETH OPENERS (CRIME IN STEREO, FRAIL BODY, MORE)
Pianos Become the Teeth have added openers to their Keep You 10th anniversary tour, including Long Island melodic hardcore vets Crime In Stereo and Rockford, IL screamo band Frail Body (who are fresh off releasing their great new album Artificial Bouquet on Deathwish) on the East Coast dates, and K. Soto (of Torrance, CA emo band Seahaven) and Santa Rosa screamo band State Faults (who are gearing up to release their anticipated new album Children of the Moon on Deathwish) on the West Coast dates.
TRAVIS SCOTT
Travis Scott is in the midst of the European leg of his “Circus Maximus” tour now, and he’s announced that he’ll bring it to Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand this fall with new shows in September and October. He’s also announced an NYC-area stadium show.
MADI DIAZ (SOLO & DATES WITH RAINBOW KITTEN SURPRISE)
Madi Diaz will head out on a short solo tour in September where she’ll play a few festivals (LA Folk Fest, Evanston Folk Fest, Nashville’s Americana Fest, Louisville’s Bourbon & Beyond) and a few headline shows with Kiely Connell also on the bill (Pittsburgh, Lancaster, Woodstock, and Bridgeport, CT). Then in November, Madi will be out with Rainbow Kitten Surprise on Southwest and West Coast dates. All dates are here.
AZEALIA BANKS
Azealia Banks will be on tour in the UK in September, and after that run, she’s announced a trio of US shows.
ANYMA ‘THE END OF GENESYS’ LIVE AT SPHERE
Las Vegas’ Sphere seems like the perfect place for an EDM show so it’s a bit surprising it’s taken a year to book one. Anyma will be presenting “The End of Genesys” at Sphere on December 27, 28, 29, 30 and January 1. The shows are promising “special guests” TBA; as to who that might be, Anyma’s album features appearances by Grimes, Sevdaliza, and Camelphat.
INTER ARMA / PYRRHON
Long-running experimental, hard-to-define metal greats Inter Arma announced a handful of East Coast shows to promote their new album, New Heaven.
SHOP TALK
Brooklyn’s Shop Talk, who channel classic UK punk (Buzzocks, The Damned), will be on tour starting Tuesday, July 23 in Philly, and then heading to Columbus, Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago, Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, Charlotte and Richmond.
ROBBER ROBBER
Burlington, VT band Robber Robber‘s debut album Wild Guess is out this week, and they’ve announced a North American tour in support.
