Erykah Badu playing AFROPUNK 2024 in Prospect Park
After many years in Commodore Barry Park, AFROPUNK moved to Greenpoint Terminal Market last year for their 2023 “Circus of Soul,” and for 2024 they’re moving again. They’ve announced BLKTOPIA BKLYN, a two-day festival happening at the Prospect Park Bandshell on August 23 & 24 in partnership with the BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. So far Erykah Badu is the only announced performer and will headline Night 2 (8/24).
Two-day tickets are on Afropunk presale now and go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 20 at 10 AM.

A space where we reimagine the future of Black life, creativity, community, and expression. AFROPUNK already knows no bounds, with BLKTOPIA we’re planting the seeds to the future of us outside of all of the systems and behaviors that have never served our people.”
