The Antlers, Mykki Blanco, Mutual Benefit & more playing Transgressive 20th anniversary party in NYC
London-based independent label Transgressive Records is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, and they have some special events lined up for the occasion. One is a show at NYC’s Knitting Factory at Baker Falls on September 25, featuring The Antlers, Julien Chang, MICHELLE, Mutual Benefit, Mykki Blanco, and Odetta Hartman. Tickets are on sale now.
The rest of Transgressive’s anniversary events are in the UK, including a takeover of The Wishing Well at Glastonbury on June 28 (with Moonchild Sanelly a DJ set from Miso Extra, Future Bounce b2b DJs, Transgressive DJs, and surprise guests); a special curated lineup in the Sunrise Arena of Latitude Festival on July 25 (with The WAEVE, Mystery Jets, KOKOKO!, HotWax, and a DJ set from Let’s Eat Grandma); a takeover at Green Man on August 16 in The Walled Garden (with HotWax and Transgressive DJs); a show at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre on July 15 (with Arlo Parks and Marika Hackman); Fat White Family offshoot The Moonlandingz and University at The Garage on September 12; Johnny Flynn & The River Band and The Joy at Eventim Apollo on September 19; Mystery Jets and special guests at EartH Theatre on September 27; and KOKOKO! and special guests at Village Underground on October 1.
