Jeff Mills to release ninth installment of Every Dog Has Its Day series

Jeff Mills is returning to his Millsart alias with Every Dog Has Its Day Vol. 9.

Available on July 16th through Axis Records, the project follows the series’ eighth installment, released last month. Continuing the focus of the previous record, the forthcoming volume will center electronic “folk music” that occasionally veers into jazz.

Mills founded Axis Records in 1991. The techno pioneer has recently announced that the imprint will expand its scope to cover “classical, jazz and film soundtracks.”
