BEN OTTEWELL / IAN BALL (GOMEZ)
Gomez’s Ben Ottewell & Ian Ball will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their band’s sophomore album, Liquid Skin, on a North American tour in October. Dates include NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on 10/2 with Buddy, and all dates are here.
ETRAN DE L’AÏR
Tuareg rock band Etran de L’Aïr will be on an extensive North American tour this summer, beginning June 26 in Washington, DC and hitting NYC’s Sony Hall on June 28 with headliner Bombino. They also play the 2024 Woodsist Festival in Accord, NY on September 22.
TEMS
Earlier this year, rising Nigerian Afrobeats star Tems revealed that her debut full-length album, Born in the Wild, was on the way. We’re still waiting for a tracklist, but she has announced the release date…and a world tour.

Mdou Moctar has added a second NYC show to his tour.
THE CACTUS BLOSSOMS
The Cactus Blossoms, aka brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum, will be on tour this spring and summer, bringing their Everly Brothers-esque harmonies to Austin, Oklahoma City, Denver, Omaha and more.
BIG|BRAVE / SPIRITUAL POISON
Montreal heavy innovators BIG|BRAVE have announced a tour supporting their new album A Chaos of Flowers that has them out with Spiritual Poison, the new project from Ethan McCarthy of Primitive Man.
JESS CORNELIUS
New Zealand-born, LA-based singer/songwriter Jess Cornelius will be on tour supporting her upcoming album CARE/TAKING this summer, including a few East Coast shows. She plays NYC’s TV Eye on August 8.
SOUND AND FURY KICKOFF SHOWS
LA hardcore festival Sound and Fury returns July 13 & 14, and it’ll be prefaced by some kickoff shows that have just been announced, including Full of Hell/Nothing and more.
BUSHWICK COLLECTIVE BLOCK PARTY
The Bushwick Collective‘s annual free block party is returning for its 13th edition, and they’ve announced the lineup.

NYC rapper Your Old Droog announced a hometown show with Edan as his DJ for the night.

Alt-pop artist Sophie Powers announced a new EP and an August tour.

AC BEER & MUSIC FEST
The 2024 AC Beer & Music Fest brings “beer, bubbles, booze & bands” to Atlantic City’s Bader Field on July 13, and they’ve announced the lineup.

Atlanta festival Music Midtown is on hiatus, and won’t be putting on a 2024 edition.
