Moor Mother and Yatta collaborate on new album, DIAL UP

Moor Mother and Yatta have put out an album together.

Spread over nine tracks, DIAL UP was written, produced and mixed by both artists. Out now, the record incorporates spoken word, gospel, lo-fi electronics, noise and Afro-diasporic percussion. “I am ready to hear/to listen/to know/dialing up to you/in my dreams,” the Bandcamp notes.

Philadelphia producer and spoken word artist Moor Mother has released a slew of records this year, most of them collaborative, like ANTHOLOGIA 01 with Olof Melander and True Opera with Mental Jewelry.

A musician, interdisciplinary artist and self-proclaimed digipoet, Yatta is a member of the New York-based experimental collective PTP.
