Lamin Fofana completes album trilogy with Blues

Lamin Fofana has released the final instalment in his album trilogy.

The trilogy pulls from influential works by Black writers, with Amiri Baraka’s Blues People: Negro Music In White America the focus of Blues. This new LP follows the series’ second entry, Darkwater, which the Berlin-based Sierra Leonean artist released on the June 5th Bandcamp Friday. The first was Black Metamorphosis, released in November 2019. Blues is out now via Fofana’s new label, Black Studies.
