James Blake announces new EP, Before

James Blake is releasing a new EP tomorrow, October 14th.

Before features four new tracks from the UK artist, including “Do You Ever,” which debuted as part of a Cadillac commercial this morning. (You can watch that below.) According to a Variety post which premiered the song, the EP is meant to hark back to Blake’s early London clubbing days.

This is Blake’s first full release since 2019’s Assume Form, and first new solo material since this year’s singles “You’re Too Precious” and “Are You Even Real?” He’s also recently worked with artists like Jay Electronica, Kehlani and Moses Sumney.

Following the release of Before, Blake will DJ on Boiler Room this Friday, October 16th at 10 PM BST.
