TheFame is an R&B artist with a hip hop vibe. Despite this being a recently popular trend, his dark and colorful content makes him one of a kind. Almost like a little bit of Drake, with a little bit of Travis Scott. Most of his music is a mixture of smooth & sweet, lyrical melodies, usually mixed over self-produced dark, slowed & screwed samples with exquisite percussion. He recently released his new EP, “B A D G I R L S” which has done nothing more but lived up to its buzz; provided the dope singles he released leading up such as, “Some of Your Time”, “For Us”, and “Pink Skies”. These three tracks were a perfect way to tease but not spoil upon its release. Another special track that sticks out in “B A D G I R L S” would be “Euphoria Forever” featuring Omar. This track provides a somewhat dark but also, inviting midnight club feel with dark harmonization from Fame with the addition of Omar’s alternative hip hop flow. Other than the twisted story-telling, the samples in this project also bring the project to life. Every interlude provides a psychedelic feel that gives you the impression of 1970’s soul music. B A D G I R L S is complete impressive body of work despite its EP title. This most definitely has put the East Coast artist on the indy scene and something to look out for in the more to come. B A D G I R L S (EP) is available now on Soundcloudbut will be hitting all major streaming sites later this month.
