Sónar+D CCCB goes virtual this year with two free livestream channels

Sónar+D CCCB 2020 will take place as a two-channel livestream this year, on September 18th and 19th.

The two-day festival will take over Barcelona’s CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona) with limited attendance in person. Everything will be streamed on two livestream channels running from 10:30 PM through 02:00 AM CET the next day. There will be a mixture of on-demand programming as well as performances that are only available to watch live as they happen.

Among those featured in the program of performances, talks, workshops and “debates” are Arca, Max Cooper, Ryoji Ikeda, Laurel Halo, Nicola Cruz and Sega Bodega. Richie Hawtin, Mat Dryhust and Holly Herndon will also speak on a panel about the future of clubbing post-pandemic.

dublab BCN is also hosting two days of DJ sets broadcast from the Torre d’Alta Mar, exclusively from local artists.
